Refund Policy
Cancellations and refund terms

1. Consumer Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order and return the product within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.

2. Exception to Right to Cancel

Your right to cancel does not apply to digital content (including Recipe Snap Premium subscription features) that you have started to download, stream, or otherwise use. By subscribing and accessing premium features, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal.

3. How to Cancel Your Order

To cancel your order within the 14-day period (before accessing premium features), you must inform Paddle of your decision. You can do this by:

  • Contacting Paddle directly through their contact form
  • Or contacting us at support@recipe-snap.ai

4. Effect of Cancellation

If you cancel this agreement as permitted above, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after being informed about your decision to cancel.

The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

5. Discretionary Refunds

Beyond the 14-day consumer right to cancel, refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle on a case-by-case basis. Paddle may refuse a refund request if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.

This does not affect your rights as a consumer in relation to products which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.

6. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting Paddle or us at support@recipe-snap.ai at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period.

Upon cancellation:

  • Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date
  • You retain premium access until the end of your billing period
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your account reverts to the free plan

Important: There are no refunds on unused subscription periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund but will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

7. Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all aspects of the transaction including payment processing, tax collection, and refunds. For complete details, please see Paddle's Consumer Terms.
